|Schooling is compulsory for all children in the United States. Formal education in the U.S. is divided into a number of distinct educational stages (early childhood, primary, secondary, tertiary or higher education).
Children ages 2-3 or 4-5 years old may enroll to a Preschool it is non-compulsory classroom-based early-childhood education also called as Pre-kindergarten (Pre-K or PK) before enrolling to a Kindergarten (5-6 yrs. old). Preschool may have a particular focus, such as arts education, religious education, sports training, or foreign language learning, along with providing general education.
Around age six, U.S. children begin primary school, which is most commonly called “elementary school.” They attend five or six years and then go onto secondary school. Secondary school consists of two programs: the first is “middle school” or “junior high school” and the second program is “high school.” A diploma or certificate is awarded upon graduation from high school. After graduating high school (12th grade), U.S. students may go on to college or university. College or university study is known as “higher education.”
In general, a student learns basic arithmetic and sometimes rudimentary algebra in mathematics, English proficiency (such as basic grammar, spelling, and vocabulary), and fundamentals of other subjects.

The Little Red Preschool believes that children thrive when provided with a loving setting. The school has a program that provides an enriched environment in which children are encouraged to grow and develop in ways that are harmonious with their individual levels of readiness and interests.
For Preschoolers children ages 2.5-3 and 3-4 years old kids were able to learn how to share, taking turns, encouraging creativity and developing self-help skills. And 4 years old as kindergarten the school believes that children learn naturally in a thoughtfully designed environment. And through play oriented activities children master those skills necessary for a successful kindergarten.
They also have program for ‘schoolage’ ages 5 through 11, for these, they encourage each student to develop a positive sense of self and a joy in the lifelong process of learning. We start the afternoon with a snack and spend an extended period of time outdoors on our Nature or Large Motor playgrounds. They wrap up the afternoon with homework time, an open-ended art project and many entertaining table-top games and activities. The school believes that being out in nature stimulates joyful, enlightening insights and experiences.
